Welcome to Oklahoma State University's GreenRide!

GreenRide is a web-based application that promotes the use of alternative transportation within the OSU community. By encouraging our faculty, staff, and students to leave their cars at home, we help preserve air quality, decrease traffic congestion, conserve fuel and promote better health.

GreenRide helps you find carpool partners by searching for other employees who live near you and have similar schedules and lifestyle preferences.

This matching service is provided by the Department of Parking and Transit Services as a service to employees and students of Oklahoma State University.  You are ultimately responsible for your safety. We cannot make any assurances about the people who use our service.  But with some common sense precautions (see tips for carpools at www.parking.okstate.edu) you can find a ride, help campus area traffic congestion, do something good for the environment, and have fun!  The OSU Parking and Transit Services Department supplies the carpool matching service free of charge and makes available carpool parking space only!

The OSU Parking and Transit Services Department assumes no liability for any circumstances that arise when carpoolers use this service.  Knowledge of the carpool vehicle condition, carpool participant driving history, and operation of the carpool are the responsibilities of the carpool users.  

To reduce congestion, provide alternative transportation, and clean the environment, we encourage OSU employees and students to use any of the following means of getting to and from work:

• Driving with a fellow employee,
• Bicycling,
• Walking,
• Motorcycling, or
• THE BUS Community Transit System.
